My Journey Back to Software Development
After a 37-year career across software engineering, systems programming, project leadership, and IT executive roles, I retired in 2023 and began rebuilding my technical foundation through coursework at Broward College. These courses provided a solid, introductory base in modern development practices—C++, C#, web technologies, and GitHub workflows— and helped me reconnect with hands-on engineering after years in leadership.
I am now in an intentional rebuilding phase: strengthening my skills, creating teaching-ready artifacts, and preparing for my next professional chapter. My primary goal is to contribute as an adjunct professor at Broward College, where I can blend industry experience with accessible instruction. I am also open to the right entry-level software engineering opportunity as I continue developing deeper expertise. This portfolio reflects that ongoing journey and the work I am actively building.
